November 14, 2007:  A new tool bag for your tool kit

Introducing Chipper, who will be my assistant.

Here is the toolbox under the seat. And in it is a complete S90 tool kit.

Here is the toolbox removed from the seat.

The slight extra height fits easily under the seat.

This view shows the new toolbag in the toolbox.

Now the toolbag standing upright.

All the tools fit snugly.

Here they are all laid out.

Now to put them back in the new toolbag

First we must collapse a few tools together.

Now they are back in a slightly different configuration. It doesn't matter too much, they still fit.

Now replaced in the toolbox.

We have to press the bag down snugly into the toolbox.

Finally ready to mount under the seat again.

Another example is the C200 tool kit in the same holder.
The tools usually go in the battery compartment, under the left cover on a C200.

Here they are all laid out. I think it is good enhancement or replacement for the
tool bag since I don't like two metal rings on the bag chancing hitting any +6 volt wires,
though there shouldn't be any. Also if you don't have the locking rings for the strap
on your bag (which I don't!) or your back has holes in it (which mine does too!)
this container is perfect.

This container is called the view-tainer. I purchased it at Sears but it may be available at other hardware stores.
I got the 2 x 6 inch size which seemed just right for the S90 toolbox and the C200 tool set too.
You can use other sizes if you wish mounted elsewhere on your motorcycle. You can also put different tools inside it.

Isn't it great when you can get assistants to work for you, and you can pay them peanuts ;->
